2022 New Sealed Allen Bradley 2198-H025-ERS Series A Kinetix 5500 Servo Drive

The Allen-Bradley 2198-H025-ERS is a drive for controlling motion and position. It is part of the 2198 system. It is a Kinetix 5500 Ethernet I/P Servo drive with up-to-date controlling and connecting tools. It works with the Studio 5000 Design environment to build integrated architecture and can be combined with the CompactLogix, ControlLogix, and Guard Logix controller platforms. The drive can work with voltages between 195 and 264V rms, three phases, and a nominal value of 240V. It can also work with voltages between 324-528V rms, three phases, and a standard value of 480VAC. It gives off a steady 8.0 A of current, a high 11.3 A of current, and 4.0 kW of power at 195–264V rms, three-phase, and 8.3 kW of power at 324-528V rms, three-phase.

Features: 

• Allen-Bradley 2198-H025-ERS suggests using safety devices like fuses and circuit breakers to protect branch circuits. The drive can be put in Shared AC Drive Systems, Shared DC or common-bus drive systems, and Shared AC/DC and hybrid systems. 
• The Bulletin 2198 Module has a frame size of two or three phases and a constant output current of 11.3 A 0-pk. With the help of extra CompactLogix, GuardLogix, or ControlLogix programmable controllers, it can handle a linear, ring, or star Ethernet topology thanks to its two ports.
• The 2198-H025-ERS Servo Drive has safe torque-off (STO) technology that is hardwired in. This means that the inverter power transistors can be safely turned off when receiving a digital input.

 However, jumper wires must be added to get around this safety feature. It comes with instructions on installing it, a motor feedback connector kit, wire plug connectors, 24 Volts of control input power, digital inputs, mains input power, a motor brake, and motor power.
