The Allen Bradley 1756-OBV8S is a Bulletin 1769 Compact I/O series chassis-based input/output module intended to assist users in reducing their inventory of I/O spare parts. This module, distributed via the EtherNet/IP network, enables CompactLogix users to upgrade to the subsequent series of controllers while maintaining the capability to utilize the 1769 I/O system without causing any disruption to their prior investment.
