Use of Niton XL3t-800

The Niton XL3t-800 is the ultimate tool for positive material identification, casting and fabrication, manufacturing QA/QC, and scrap metal recycling. They do Real-time compliance testing for the Consumer Product Safety Improvement Act (CPSIA), Proposition 65, the Restriction of Hazardous Substances (RoHS), and other requirements, including screening incoming materials and exiting finished items. The cutting-edge Niton XL3t XRF Analyzer is a portable device with features designed to increase your profitability and efficiency. 

Features of Niton XL3t-800: 

• Excellent sensitivity and precision in measuring 
• Lower detection limits for elements with a higher Z, plus the addition of Mg, Al, Si, and P by helium purging 
• Standard range of analysis: 25 components, ranging from S to U 
• An optional CCD camera to recognize and capture pictures of samples visually 
• A 3 mm tiny spot that the user may choose to find regions of interest on a sample 
• Touchscreen, color, flip-up display, Design with ergonomics and Software that is simple to use 
• About twice as much x-ray flux may be obtained from a 50 kV x-ray tube as from a 40 kV x-ray tube. 
• Testing at up to 842°F (450°C) is possible in petrochemical refineries using the Hotfoot hot surface adapter.
