2021 New Sealed Allen Bradley 5069-AENTR Compact I/O Logix 5000 ENET/IP Adapter

The Allen-Bradley 5069-AENTR is a Compact 5000 Ethernet I/P communication adapter that makes it easier for controllers and I/O units to send and receive data. It comes with two Ethernet ports and can communicate at speeds of up to 10/100 Mbps or 1 Gbps. It also works with linear, star, and ring designs to create high-availability, redundant Ethernet networks. 

Features:

This adapter can be set up with Studio 5000 Logix Creator or a higher version and manage a Device Level Ring (DLR)—the 5069-AENTR works with Allen-Bradley 1784-SD1 and 1784-SD2 SD cards. 

You can also use third-party SD cards, but Allen-Bradley doesn’t promise they will work. It can be set up with as much memory as 32 GB. 

The adapter can work in temperatures ranging from 0°C to 60°C and has a MOD power of 220 mA @ 18–32V DC, a SA power passthrough of 9.95 A @ 0-32V DC, and a 125V AC max. The ATEX/IECEx power passthrough is five mA @ 0-32V DC and two mA @ 0-240V AC, 47–63 Hz.

Tracking systems:

The 5069-AENTR is the only adapter that works with DHCP mode and Power RTB. It also has better state indicators for keeping track of systems and fixing problems. Because it has system power, it has better separation and built-in power input.

Adapter’s separation voltage tests: 

 The adapter’s separation voltage was tested at 1500V AC for 60 seconds and found to be 300 V. For SA power, it is recommended that an external overcurrent protector of 20 A at 250V AC be used.

Twister copper wire:

 A solid or twisted copper wire with a 1.2 mm insulation m is used for the 5069-AENTR. It can only connect to one other wire. You should only use IEC 61918 and IEC 61784-5-2 to join an Ethernet cable. It can work at 0 to 60 °C and not at -40 to 85 °C. Its relative humidity is 5 to 95% and doesn’t condense.
