Allen Bradley 1769-PB2 CompactLogix Controller w/ 1769-ECR

The  1769-PB2 is a small GuardLogix controller that belongs to the 5370 GuardLogix controller platform. It is specifically suited for applications that require safety certifications of Safety Integrity Level (SIL) 3 and Performance Level (PL)e. 

The 1769-PB2 has a regular memory of 3MB and a safety memory of 1.5MB, which may be increased using Secure Digital (SD) cards. The controller is equipped with integrated communication interfaces consisting of two Ethernet communication ports. These ports allow transmission speeds of 10/100 Mbps and are compatible with Linear, Star, and Device Level Ring topologies. 

The 1769-PB2 can work with conventional CompactLogix I/O modules and is consistent with the Common Industrial Protocol (CIP) safety protocol. It also provides a socket interface for devices incompatible with the Ethernet I/P application protocol.

The controller may be programmed using IEC-61131-3 programming languages. 

It has a rated operating shock of 20 G when placed on a DIN rail and 30 G when installed on a panel. 

The  1769-PB2 is capable of withstanding electrostatic discharge, as it has an EFT/B immunity rating of +/- 3 kiloVolts at 5 kiloHertz on communication ports and +/- 4 kiloVolts at a frequency of 5 kiloHertz on protecting the earth. 

The 1769-PB2 controller is versatile and may be linked to various industrial applications, such as local expansion modules and managing distributed and local I/O modules.
